Our story began back in 2012 with a technological breakthrough: the use of the Villari effect to weigh the mass of passing trains directly through the rail—quickly, accurately, and without interrupting ongoing operations. Starting from this prototype, we have continuously developed our offering and expanded it with OCR, RFID, and seamless cloud access.
Our systems have been successfully used internationally in various industries since 2019. As our customers' requirements continue to grow, we are also developing our state-of-the-art solutions for the challenges of tomorrow.
Our vision remains unchanged: we want to help make rail and truck transport safer and more targeted through automation and digitalization, and simplify the associated processes for our customers.

TRENPEX Inc. is based in Miami, Florida. TRENPEX GmbH, located in Bruckmühl in Upper Bavaria, Germany, is responsible for operations in Europe and has been a wholly owned subsidiary of TRENPEX Inc. since 2024.
