Powerful and compatible on-site detection systems
Our video gates, weighing systems, and other third-party detection systems are used to provide a complete picture of your transport movements.
Easy installation
Reliable and fast
Reliable and without interrupting your ongoing operations, TRENPEX's easy-to-install video gates automatically record all relevant data on roads and railways. Supplemented by weighing systems, optical inspection systems, and interfaces to third-party providers, you not only get a complete picture of transport movements for incoming and outgoing goods, but also seamless documentation of the condition of vehicles and loads. This allows you to detect damage at an early stage, clearly assign responsibilities, and sustainably increase safety on your premises.
At the touch of a button, you can see all the results that are important for your company for each measurement event at a glance. This central overview provides you with maximum transparency and makes your daily work easier by saving you valuable time in evaluation and enabling you to make decisions more quickly based on your knowledge of the data and information.
Video gates
Space-saving, easy to install, no interruption to ongoing operations, and cost-effective
To capture the data, our self-developed TRENPEX hardware is deployed on your company premises. This slim and space-saving video gate is preferably installed at the entrance to your facility, positioned directly next to the railway (for trains with wagons and containers) or next to the road (for trucks). It includes a camera system equipped with high-quality sensors and operates in combination with advanced OCR technology.
It is available at short notice and quick and easy to install. The only requirement is a power line with a standard low-voltage connection or a single-phase AC connection (230/110 VAC) next to the track or road. Your ongoing operations will be virtually uninterrupted during installation, and within a few days you will receive exactly the measurement data you need for your logistics processes.
TRENPEX video gates are robust and low-maintenance, and designed for extreme temperatures and weather conditions.
Companies do not need a measuring booth next to the track and therefore do not need a local workstation next to the rail or gate. This saves you, the customer, on-site personnel and provides you with error-free results thanks to automation.
Compared to competing products, TRENPEX video gates are also extremely cost-effective.

TRENPEX-RailGate
Which train goes to the company premises and when?
Incoming and outgoing rail vehicles such as locomotives and trains (including their wagons with cargo or containers) are identified and clearly recognized by the TRENPEX video gate using a camera system developed in-house. To do this, we use proven components from various areas of industrial image processing, such as high-quality sensors and AI-based OCR character recognition. This enables us to determine, for example, the positions of the containers in the train formation as soon as the train enters the station, so that you can position your cranes correctly for unloading or loading the freight before the train stops.

About the TRENPEX RoadGate solutionWeighing
How much weight is the train or truck carrying?
Dynamic scales are used to measure the weight or load of rail vehicles and trucks entering and leaving your logistics facility. These provide automatic, precise, and efficient weight recording for all freight vehicles at the entrance to your premises.

What other information is important for your industry?
Depending on the industry, you may require additional information to ensure the smooth flow of your goods traffic. For example, companies in the steel industry are required to inspect their incoming cargo for contamination, particularly for radioactive radiation. Other industrial companies use sensor technology to detect flat spots, wheel profiles, or hot runners, or they inspect pantographs and overhead lines for possible damage. The RFID detection of vehicles is also essential for many industries.
