The provider collects data about each access to the online offer (so-called server log files). The access data includes the name of the website accessed, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful access, browser type and version, the user's operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address and the requesting provider. The provider uses the log data without attribution to the person of the user or other profiling in accordance with the statutory provisions only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of the operation, security and optimisation of the online offer. However, the provider reserves the right to check the log data retrospectively if there is a justified suspicion of illegal use on the basis of concrete indications.
Collection and use of personal data
Personal data is only collected and used by the provider if this is permitted by law or the users consent to the data collection. As a rule, it is recognisable to users which data is stored when they use the service, for example name, e-mail address and message when using the order form. The personal data provided for the purpose of ordering goods (such as name, e-mail address, address, payment data) are used by the seller to fulfil and process the contract. This data is treated confidentially, transmitted in encrypted form and not passed on to third parties who are not involved in the ordering, delivery and payment process. When contacting the provider (via contact form or email), the user's details are stored for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case follow-up questions arise. The provider has taken organisational, contractual and technical security measures to ensure that the provisions of data protection laws are complied with and to prevent accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorised persons.
Data forwarding to third parties
User data is only forwarded to third parties if this is permitted by law or a user has consented to the forwarding. This is the case, for example, if the forwarding of the data serves the fulfillment of contractual obligations to the user and the postal address is transferred to a shipping company after a store order. Or if the data is requested by competent authorities such as law enforcement agencies. The personal data of the users are in no way sold or forwarded to third parties for advertising purposes or for the purpose of creating user profiles.
Cookies
The provider uses "cookies" as part of its online offer. Cookies are small files that are stored on the user's computer and can save information for providers. Temporary cookies are deleted after closing the browser, permanent cookies remain for a specified period of time and can provide the stored information when the online offer is called up again. Cookies are used on the one hand to facilitate the use of the service. For example, a cookie saves the shopping basket status of a user. The user can influence the use of cookies. Most browsers have an option to restrict or completely prevent the storage of cookies. The provider endeavours to design the online offer in such a way that the use of cookies is not necessary. However, it is pointed out that the use and in particular the user comfort are restricted without cookies.
Information dispatch via newsletter
E-mails containing promotional information about the provider and its services will only be sent with the express consent of the user. Users can object to receiving the newsletter at any time. An objection option can be found in every e-mail, among other things. Before the newsletter is sent, the email owner receives a confirmation email in which he or she must confirm the newsletter registration. Unconfirmed registrations are automatically deleted within four weeks at the latest. Messages within the framework of the contractual relationship with the user do not belong to promotional information. This includes the sending of technical information, information on payment processing, queries about orders and comparable messages. Users can subsequently request to be removed from the notification list by sending an e-mail to the contact options given above. As part of the registration process, the provider stores the registration and confirmation time and the IP address of the user. The provider is legally obliged to log the registrations in order to be able to prove proper registration.
Revocation, amendments, corrections and updates
The user has the right, upon request and free of charge, to receive information about the personal data stored about him/her by the provider. Contact details can be found in the provider's imprint. In addition, the user has the right to correct incorrect data, block and delete his or her personal data, provided that there is no legal obligation to retain such data.
Changes to the privacy policy
The provider reserves the right to change the data protection declaration in order to adapt it to changes in the legal situation or in the event of changes to the service and data processing.
